If you were charged for a PicMonkey subscription and would like to request a refund, we're here to help.
Canceling your subscription does not automatically issue a refund. Cancellation prevents future renewals, while a refund applies to a charge that has already been processed.
Refund eligibility depends on your subscription type, when you were charged, and other details related to your account and subscription.
Monthly subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions automatically renew each month unless canceled before the next renewal date.
In general, refunds are not provided for monthly subscription charges. If you have been charged for a monthly subscription and believe your circumstances warrant a refund, you can contact PicMonkey Support and request a review.
Our team will review your account and billing information and determine whether a refund can be issued.
Because monthly subscriptions renew automatically, be sure to cancel your subscription before your next renewal date if you do not want to be charged for another month.
Annual subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are eligible for a 14-day cooling-off period after the subscription is purchased.
If you cancel within the 14-day cooling-off period and have not used or accessed your PicMonkey subscription, you may be eligible for a refund.
A refund cannot be issued after you have used or accessed your subscription, even if you are still within the 14-day cooling-off period.
For example, opening or exporting a design after purchasing an annual subscription may mean that you are no longer eligible for a refund.
Annual subscriptions automatically renew each year unless canceled before the renewal date. If you have been charged for an annual subscription or annual renewal and would like to request a refund, contact PicMonkey Support. Our team will review the charge and your account to determine whether a refund can be issued.
What if I used my subscription?
Using or accessing your PicMonkey subscription can affect your eligibility for a refund.
For annual subscriptions, a refund cannot be issued after you have used or accessed the subscription, even if you are still within the 14-day cooling-off period.
For monthly subscriptions, refunds are generally not provided. If you believe your circumstances warrant a refund, contact PicMonkey Support so we can review your specific situation.
How do I request a refund?
Contact PicMonkey Support from the email address associated with your PicMonkey account.
Please include:
The email address associated with your account
The date of the charge
The amount charged
Any relevant details about your refund request
Our Support team will review your account and billing information and let you know whether the charge is eligible for a refund.
If a refund is approved, it will be returned to the original payment method.
I already canceled my subscription. Can I still request a refund?
Yes. You can request a refund review for a charge that has already been processed even if you have already canceled your subscription.
However, canceling your subscription does not automatically refund a previous charge.
Cancellation prevents future subscription renewals; it does not reverse charges that have already been processed.
I forgot to cancel before my subscription renewed. Can I get a refund?
If you forgot to cancel before your subscription renewed, you can contact PicMonkey Support and request a refund review.
Our team will review the specific charge and your account and determine whether a refund can be issued.
What if I paid through PayPal?
If you purchased your PicMonkey subscription directly through PicMonkey and paid with PayPal, you can contact PicMonkey Support to request a refund review.
If your refund is approved, it will be processed through the applicable payment method.
What if I paid via Google Play?
If your PicMonkey subscription was purchased and billed through Google Play, contact PicMonkey Support to request a refund review.
To help us locate your subscription or Google Play transaction, please provide either:
The email address associated with your PicMonkey subscription, or
The GPA number provided by Google for the Google Play charge
The GPA number is the transaction number Google provides when you are charged for a purchase through Google Play. You can find it in your Google Play purchase receipt or transaction information.
Providing one of these details will help our Support team locate the appropriate subscription or transaction and review your refund request.
What if I paid through Apple?
If your PicMonkey subscription was purchased and billed through Apple, Apple handles the payment through its own billing system.
Because Apple manages those transactions, PicMonkey cannot process refunds for Apple-billed charges. Refund requests for these charges must be submitted directly to Apple.
If you're not sure whether your subscription is billed through Apple or directly through PicMonkey, contact PicMonkey Support and we can help you determine which billing system handled the charge.
How long does a refund take?
After PicMonkey processes a refund, it may take up to 5 business days to appear in your account. The exact timing can vary depending on your bank or financial institution.
If we've confirmed that your refund was processed and you don't see it after the expected timeframe, we recommend contacting your bank or financial institution for additional information.
What's the difference between canceling and requesting a refund?
Canceling your subscription prevents future subscription renewals.
Requesting a refund asks us to review a charge that has already been processed.
If you want to stop future charges and request a refund for an existing charge, you'll need to do both.
Need help with a charge?
We recommend contacting PicMonkey Support before filing a payment dispute with your bank or card issuer. Our team can review your account and, when a refund is appropriate, may be able to process it directly.
